Two Years After her DUI, California Star Nicole Ritchie Has Gone the High Road


 

New mommy Nicole Ritchie has apparently cleaned up her act. A judge determined this week that the former Simple Life has done a complete turn-around and is “in compliance” with the terms of her probation stemming from her 2006 DUI bust, reports E! News. Lawyer firm in Florida.

Richie, who was caught driving the wrong way on an L.A. freeway after taking Vicodin and smoking pot in 2006 has become a mother (daughter Harlow Winter Kate Madden was born January 11, 2008), started the Richie-Madden Children’s

Foundation, and continues to comply with her probation restrictions.

Ritchie was placed on three years' probation in July 2007, served just 82 minutes of a four-day jail sentence last summer while pregnant, and even though only required to clock in for three weeks, Ritchie signed up for an entire 18-month alcohol education program.

A follow-up hearing has been set for February 20, 2009. However, like last week’s hearing, Richie, who instead attended a few shows at New York’s fashion week, will not be required to appear.

  In Pacific Beach on Wednesday night during a public hearing, the Pacific Beach advisory panel voted to try and make some changes in the way alcohol licenses are distributed in the local area. The title of the new fifty-eight pages of guidelines is “Alcohol License Policies and Issues in Pacific Beach” and this report received an 11-5 vote from the Pacific Beach advisory panel. Actress Estella Warren Pleads No-Contest For May DUI Charge

 In Los Angeles, actress Estella Warren appeared in court Friday due to her May 2011 DUI arrest. Warren pleaded no-contest for her DUI charge and the Judge ordered that the she go into a residential rehab facility for six months. Frank Mateljan, a Los Angeles city attorney’s spokesman explained that in addition to residential rehab, Warren is sentenced to five years of informal probation. According to the Associated Press, on October 7th of this year, Warren will have to attend a hearing about whether or not she will have to pay restitution. The actress alongside Mark Wahlberg starred in 2001 blockbuster Planet of the Apes crashed her Prius while driving under the influence of alcohol into three parked cars. Lawyer firm in Florida .
